Privacy Policy

Elder Abuse Services Inc. (EASI) collects only the information needed to operate this site, respond to inquiries, coordinate volunteers and partners, and build elder justice infrastructure in Fresno and Madera Counties.

Information we may collect

Depending on how you engage with EASI, we may collect:

  • Contact information (name, email, phone, organization) you choose to share.
  • Responses submitted through volunteer, training, partner, or support interest forms as those forms become available.
  • Organization and role information for coalition partners.
  • Account or login information for board members, volunteers, and partners with authorized access.
  • Basic technical information (browser, device, usage data).

What we do not collect here

EASI's public website is not an intake system. We do not ask for, and you should not submit, details of abuse situations, case information, medical information, or financial account information through public forms.

If you need to report suspected elder abuse, contact Adult Protective Services directly: Fresno County (559) 255-3383 (24/7) or Madera County (559) 675-7839 (24/7). If there is immediate danger, call 911.

How information is used

  • Responding to inquiries and connecting people to appropriate resources.
  • Coordinating volunteer, training, and partnership participation.
  • Operating, securing, and improving the site.
  • Communicating about EASI programs, with your consent.
  • Complying with legal obligations, including mandated reporting duties where they apply.

Donations

When EASI's community campaign opens, donations will be processed by a dedicated third-party donation platform. EASI does not store payment card information.

Sharing

EASI does not sell personal information. Information is shared only:

  • With coalition partners, when you ask us to connect you and consent to it.
  • With service providers who help operate the site, under confidentiality obligations.
  • When required by law, including mandated reporting of suspected elder abuse, or to protect someone's immediate safety.

Your choices

You may ask what information EASI holds about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting hello@easifresno.org or (559) 347-8620. We will honor these requests except where law requires retention.

We will update this page as EASI's programs grow, and note the date of the last revision.
